Ceramic Artist

Hello, thank you for visiting this site.

Briefly I have studied Fine Art at Orebro Art School in Sweden (!992), Chelsea Art School, London (1994) and Fine Art (BA) Sculpture at Central St Martins, London (1998).  I have also completed Advance levels in City & Guilds certificates in Ceramics (2005 - 2009) and a PGCE Art teacher training (2006) with art teaching experience in secondary schools.  As I continue to develop my own art disciplines I also run creative workshops in drawing, painting and ceramics for all ages and abilities.

So far, my exhibitions to date have mainly been paintings:

These past  years I have undertaken several ceramic commissions for sets of domestic ware, storage jars, commerative plates and sculptures including  water fountains and  bird baths.

Usually a requested piece will be sketched up with location or function in mind, with tests of suitable glazes and techniques depicted.  The cost is negotiated with consideration of size, labour and quantity.
